2011 Uniroyal® Soccer Program
PASA Scores This Season with Donations from Uniroyal® Tire and Lynchburg Tire Company
This is the 12th consecutive year that Uniroyal Tires is supporting youth soccer nationwide, and PASA is excited to be selected
to benefit from this program! Since inception of the program, over $13 million in funds and equipment has been donated by Uniroyal and their dealers
(including more than one million soccer balls) to youth soccer organizations across America.
As stated in the Uniroyal Tire press release, starting September 24, 2011 families of Peaks Area Soccer Association will receive certificates that can be redeemed for a free soccer ball at Lynchburg Tire Corp located at 3630 S Amherst Hwy in Madison Heights. (map), while supplies last. After the 30-day program period, PASA will receive $2 for every Uniroyal tire sold to the general public on behalf of Uniroyal and Lynchburg Tire Corp. Registration Open House
PASA will be holding a travel soccer registration open house at the
Bedford Area Family YMCA on May 25, 2011 from
6:00 pm until 8:00 pm to collect paperwork and payments. Overstreet's Photography will be there taking
photographs for player passes, and sample uniforms will be on display.
In case anyone does not get their acceptance packet in time for the open house, we will have commitment and uniform order forms on site. Please review the Commitment Form and Uniform Order Form for details. Fall Uniform Purchases
PASA players should take pride in their PASA uniforms, but the current inventory of uniforms is showing considerable wear and tear.
Most of the PASA player uniform components have been out of manufacture for some time, and it is a constant struggle to locate and purchase individual
components that have similar styles.
In order for PASA to avoid a major expense in acquiring fall uniforms (which will result in increased player fees) and to provide our members with quality services, PASA has entered into a partnership with Strictly Soccer to provide new Adidas uniforms to all players. The primary benefits are that all players will own their own uniforms & numbers, and PASA will be able to implement a process to keep all of the uniforms current. Further, players and supporters will be able to order replacement and add-on merchandise year round from a special section on the Strictly Soccer website (which is linked from www.pasasoccer.info), and the items will be shipped directly to the players' homes. PASA is excited about this new partnership, but realizes that there will be many questions. In order to ease some of the concerns and confusion, PASA has created a Frequently Asked Questions document. If you have a question that is not answered in this document, please feel free to follow-up with your team manager, coach or Greg Doneghue. |
